Waaree Energies Limited Subsidiary Bags 2GW Solar Project from Jindal Renewables’ SPV

Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited will oversee the design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, testing and commissioning of the solar PV project.

Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL), a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Limited, one of the largest solar PV module manufacturers in the country, has secured an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for a 2GW solar project from Sunbreeze Renewables Nine Private Limited, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of Jindal Renewables.

This is WRTL’s largest single order in Indian history from a single customer. The project will be implemented in Bikaner, Rajasthan, utilizing advanced technologies and sustainable solutions to enhance energy efficiency and maximize generation.

WRTL will oversee the design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, testing, and commissioning of the solar PV project, ensuring efficient delivery of clean energy to the designated Point of Injection (PoI).

Mr. Bharat Saxena, President of Jindal Renewables, said,  “This project aligns perfectly with our commitment to driving sustainability in the steel industry.
