Teracom Limited, a relatively young company which has started production of ACSR, AAAC, AAC, ACAR etc. conductors and ABC cable in 2007 at its newly setup production facility at Pantnagar is emerging as a formidable supplier of Conductors and Cables in the Country. In the short span it has received approval from major buyers such as power companies, utilities, Railways etc. and supplied over 2 lakh KM of Conductors.

Subsequent to approval from PGCIL in 2010-11 for supply of the conductors, company received orders for supply of 4550Kms Moose, 870 Km Snowbird and 1050 Km Bersimis and have already supplied 4000 Km Moose, 870 Km snowbird and 720 Km Bersimis valuing Rs. 140 Crores in the supply schedule as required by PGCIL in last 12 months. The Total value of the order is Rs 180 Crores. Bersimis is the Conductor used for 765 KV and manufacturers are required to get the product tested from internationally recognized Testing lab before the product is accepted by the users .Teracom got its product tested from SABS located in South Africa.
