Tata Steel has launched its first fully automated construction service centre, with a production capacity of 3000 TPM, in Tangi, Cuttack, Odisha. Spread over an area of 11 acres, the new centre is set to revolutionize the reinforcement application in the construction sector and cater to the rapidly growing infrastructure demand in Odisha.

Tata Steel has recently inaugurated its first-ever fully automated construction service centre in Tangi, Cuttack, Odisha in partnership with Sagar Business Private Limited, a channel partner of Tata Steel. This new landmark facility, with a production capacity of 3000 TPM for customized cut and bend rebars, coupler threading and welded wire mesh, is spread across 11 acres and equipped with state-of-the-art automatic manufacturing facilities. The new centre marks a significant milestone in shaping the construction industry and positioning. This groundbreaking initiative is set to revolutionize the reinforcement application in the construction sector and cater to the rapidly growing infrastructure demand in Odisha.

The centre was inaugurated by Mr. Ashish Anupam, chairperson, marketing and sales, long products, Tata Steel.
