Syska, known for its LED lighting solutions and personal care products, is expanding into the wire and cables business. The company has roped in Amitabh Bachchan as the brand ambassador and has made an investment of 30 crores in 3 months towards aggressive marketing campaigns that started in July 2018 for the launch of Wires and Cables business.
The company is targeting around INR 500 crores in the current fiscal and is confident of achieving this number in the next nine months. Syska will make flame retardant low smoke wires. They will also be RoHS-compliant, energy saving, high-heat resistant, anti-termite, anti-rodent, free from lead and halogen gas, and have high current carrying capacity, among other special features.
