Sterlite Brazil Participaes S.A. (Sterlite Power Brasil), which is a subsidiary of Sterlite Power Transmission, is looking to expand transmission and substation projects in the states of Minas Gerais and Paraiba in the South American nation.

Sterlite Brazil Participaes S.A. (Sterlite Power Brazil), the Brazilian subdivision of Sterlite Power Transmission Ltd, has announced its plans of expanding transmission projects in two regions of Brazil – Minas Gerais and Paraiba. The projects are estimated to have the capital expenditure of INR 250 crore (BRL 181 million), according to the statement by the power transmission company.
Additionally, the requests for an authorising resolution for the construction of an additional scope came from the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL).
