Serentica Renewables, India’s renewable green energy company, has announced plans to develop 10 GW renewable energy projects in Andhra Pradesh, aligning with the state’s ambition of reaching 72 GW renewable capacity by 2030. The initiative aims to support Andhra Pradesh’s green energy goals and contribute to India’s national renewable energy goals.

Commenting on the project, Serentica’s Chairman Pratik Agarwal said, “Andhra Pradesh holds immense renewable energy potential, and our 10 GW commitment is a step toward unlocking it. This project will provide reliable, round-the-clock green power, supporting regional growth and India’s energy security goals.”

The company’s 10 GW project will integrate solar, wind, and storage technologies to deliver continuous green power. Serentica’s CEO, Akshay Hiranandani, said, “We are combining solar, wind, and storage to ensure green power availability.” Serentica plans to expand its renewable portfolio to 17 GW by 2030, with 5,000 MWh of storage capacity. Of this, 4 GW is expected to be operational by 2025.
