State-owned RailTel Corporation of India has secured multiple work orders worth INR 221 crore in different sectors, including a project worth INR 104.16 crore from the Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MSPGCL) for upgradation of its IT network infrastructure.

Under this project, the Central PSU will modernize nine power plants and three offices of MSPGCL with the latest technology. The execution deadline for this order is January 30, 2030.

RailTel, one of the leading neutral telecom infrastructure providers in the country owning a pan-India optical fiber network, has also bagged an INR 100.33 crore contract from a Defence PSU to establish a Data Centre (DC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) Centre with completion target of May 30, 2025.

It has further secured a contract worth INR 15.98 crore from the Department of Education Samagra Shiksha under the STARS initiative. RailTel will set up Robotics, Drone and Atal Tinkering Labs in 160 government schools across the State of Himachal Pradesh. The project is expected to be completed by November 30, 2025.
