PM Modi Inaugurates 24 Projects worth INR 46,300 Crore in Rajasthan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in ‘Ek Varsh-Parinaam Utkarsh’ event and laid the foundation 24 mega projects in the state related to energy, road, railways and water worth over INR 46,300 crore.

Participating in ‘Ek Varsh-Parinaam Utkarsh’ event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 24 mega projects related to energy, road, railways and water worth over INR 46,300 crore in Rajasthan’s Jaipur.

Among the key development projects in Rajasthan are seven central government projects and two by the state government. He also laid the foundation stone for 15 projects, which are estimated to be over INR 35,300 crore. These projects include smart electricity transmission network and asset management system projects, railway electrification of Bhildi- Samdari-Luni- Jodhpur-Merta Road-Degana – Ratangarh section and Package 12 of Delhi-Vadodara Green Field Alignment (NH-148N), among others.

Besides these, PM Modi has also laid the foundation stone for construction work of the Ramgarh bbarrage & Mahalpur arrage as well as the system for the transfer of water from Navnera barrage to Bisalpur dam and Isarda dam through the aqueduct on the Chambal river. This is being done at a cost of more than INR 9,400 crore.

The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for installation of rooftop solar plants on government office buildings, development of one 2000 MW solar park & two phases of 1000 MW solar parks in Poogal (Bikaner) and drinking water transmission line from Saipau (Dholpur) to Bharatpur-Deeg-Kumher-Nagar-Kaman & Pahari and Chambal-Dholpur-Bharatpur retrofitting work. 

Foundation stone was also laid for works related to Luni-Samdari-Bhildi double line, Ajmer- Chanderiya double line and Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur double line railway project as well as other energy transmission related projects.

These projects will help to provide an easy commute to people and fulfill the energy requirements of the state, aligning with the PM’s vision to transition into green energy.  Earlier,  Prime Minister visited the state during the Investment Summit in Rajasthan. He highlighted how several big investors from the country as well as around the world had gathered to participate in the event.
