Nexans has completed its acquisition of Reka Cables, a Finland-based subsidiary of Reka Industrial. Post-acquisition, Reka Cables will integrate with Nexans to provide carbon-neutral and quality products to the Nordic region.

Nexans has successfully completed the acquisition of Reka Cables. This takeover is in-step with Nexans’ mission to become a pure electrification player and contribute to carbon neutrality by 2030.
Reka Cables is a Finland-based manufacturer of premium high, medium, and low-voltage cables and a pre-acquisition subsidiary of Reka Industrial. It has three manufacturing plants in Finland and has been providing high-quality cables to customers in the energy, infrastructure, and building sectors for over 60 years. Post-acquisition it will be integrated into Nexans’ Distribution & Usage business group to complement Nexans’ Sweden and Norway operations.
