ISO 9001 sets out the criteria for a quality management system and can be used by any organization, large or small, regardless of its field of activity. OHSAS 18001 is a framework for an occupational health and safety management system and is a part of the OHSAS 18000. It helps put in place policies, procedures and controls that are needed for an organization to achieve the best possible working conditions and workplace health and safety, aligned to internationally recognized best practice.
