Larsen and Toubro (L&T) has bagged orders worth Rs 742 crore in the power transmission and distribution business, including “a major order secured in Qatar for setting up of a 220 kV, 515 MVA cable system and for the construction of a 220/66/11 kV substation,” the company said.
Besides, it won an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) order from Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation and a turnkey order from West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company for construction of seven transmission lines in West Bengal.
