Lifeline Technologies, one of the leading additive and masterbatch manufacturing companies in India, has recently developed monkey repellent and anti-viral additive masterbatch. Currently exporting to over 32 countries, they are exploring new markets and horizons to enhance their global presence. This was revealed by Mr. Karan Shah, Director-Marketing & Business Development at Lifeline Technologies during his interaction with Wire & Cable India magazine.
Wire & Cable India: What are your key objectives for participating in Wire 2024, Germany?
Karan Shah: This is the biggest Wire show in the world that will help us to increase our reach globally. We are here to gather insights into market dynamics, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making and market positioning. As a participant in the WIRE show for the past few years, it has opened many avenues, markets, and segments like never before!
WCI: Which specific products or technologies will you be showcasing at the event?
KS: We have a diverse range of products to offer to our customers. We will be showcasing our vast range of repellent grades including monkey repellent, squirrel repellent, rodent repellent, and ant cum termite repellent additives. Additionally, we will be showcasing anti-microbial, anti-viral, additives and masterbatch, water-blocking tapes, and LSZH compounds.

WCI: What is your USP that sets you apart from your competitors?
KS: We are a one-stop solution provider for the wire and cable industry for their requirements of performance additives, masterbatches, LSZH compounds, and water-blocking tapes. We have unique offerings like rodent repellent, termite repellent, squirrel repellent, UV additives, monkey repellent, and laser marking masterbatch and combi batches which combine colour as well.
Furthermore, we offer a wide range of RAL/Pantone-based colour masterbatches for PE, HFFR, PVC, EVA, XLPE, PBT, TPU, PA, PC base resins. We have developed unique flame retardant additives for FRLS and HFFR applications. We also offer flame-retardant compounds to achieve the highest ratings that comply with European norms. We offer superior quality non woven and woven swellable tapes and yarn for the cable industry – power, telecom, and specialty cable. We are a technology-driven company providing solutions to our partners.
WCI: What innovations have you incorporated into your existing product line? Share some of your recent developments
KS: We have exceptional in-house manufacturing capabilities along with a state-of-the-art research & development laboratory which enables us to make path-breaking advancements in the industry. Recently, we have developed monkey repellent and anti-viral additive masterbatch which we will be showcasing at the Wire 2024.
WCI: What are your long-term vision and goals?
KS: We envision ourselves to be the leaders in manufacturing specialty additives and masterbatches in India and across the world. We aim to expand our horizons to countries we have not explored yet. Additionally, we aim to export to over 50 countries by the year 2030. We look forward to providing the best quality, cost-effective products, with entirely customizable solutions for our customers, adding value to the customers, stakeholders, and their products.
WCI: Please shed light on your market footprint and key clientele?
KS: We have a wide range of products for various industries. We have a good foothold in the wire & cable industry. We offer our grades to optical fibre cables, building wires, cable ducts, PVC compounds, warning tapes, etc.
We are growing our footprint with the best solutions and newer products with innovation. With exports to over 32 countries and growing, we are in the advanced stage of talks with some clients in new markets.
