KEC International Ltd. has secured new orders of Rs. 1,300 crore in its Transmission, Power Systems, Cables and Water businesses. The details are as follows:
Transmission Business
In this business, the company has won new orders amounting to Rs. 909 crore.
• India – Supply and erection of a 765 kV double circuit transmission line between Aurangabad – Padghe in Maha-rashtra. The order is secured from the Power Grid Corpo-ration of India (PGCIL). The order value is Rs. 318 crore.
• The Americas – SAE Towers, the wholly owned subsidiary of the Company has secured orders for the supply of lattice towers, monopoles and hardware from Canada, United States, Brazil and Mexico. The total value of these orders is Rs. 166 crore.
• Saudi Arabia – Design, supply and erection of 380 kV transmission lines. The order is secured from the Saudi Electricity Company. The order value is Rs. 126 crore (KEC Share).
• Afghanistan – Design, supply and erection of 220 kV transmission line between Chimtala – Kabul. The order is secured from the Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat. The order value is Rs. 117 crore.
• Kenya – Design, supply and erection of 220 kV transmission line on turnkey basis between Turkwel-Ortum-Kitale. The order is secured from the Kenya Electricity Trans-mission Company Limited. The order value is Rs. 71 crore.
• Kazakhstan – Rehabilitation of 220 kV transmission lines between TsGPP – Ossakarovka substations. The order is secured from the Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company (KEGOC). The order value is Rs. 69 crore.
• Laos – Design, supply and erection of 115 kV transmission line for the Greater Mekong Subregion Northern Power Transmission Project. The order is secured from the Electricite du Laos (Ministry of Energy and Mines). The order value is Rs. 42 crore.
Power Systems Business
In this business, the Company has won new orders amounting to Rs. 75 crore
• Laos – Design, supply and construction of 115/22 kV substations on turnkey basis for the Greater Mekong Subregion Northern Power Transmission Project. The order is secured from the Electricite du Laos (Ministry of Energy and Mines). The order value is Rs. 33 crore.
• The Philippines – Design, supply and construction of 138 kV substations on turnkey basis under Mindanao Reliability Compliance Project 1 (Phase-1). The order is secured from the National Grid Corporation of Philippines (NGCP). The order value is Rs. 26 crore.
• Malaysia – Design, supply and construction of 275/33 kV Engkilili substations on turnkey basis. The order is secured from Sarawak Energy Berhad. The order value is Rs.16 crore.
Cable Business
The Company has secured Rs. 182 crore orders for the supply of power and telecom cables.
