KEC International Limited has secured new orders of INR 1,445 crore for Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects in India. The orders include 800 kV HVDC & 400 kV transmission line orders, from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL).

Mr. Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International Limited, said, ‘‘We are delighted with the significant order wins, particularly the prestigious order in the HVDC segment in India.’’

He adds, ‘‘This order further strengthens our presence in the HVDC market where we are already executing a HVDC terminal station project for a reputed private client. With these new orders, KEC’s YTD order intake has surpassed INR 22,000 crores, reflecting a growth of more than 70% vis-a -vis last year.
