Among orders secured are Rs.53 crore for supply of power (incl. EHV) and telecom cables and Rs.582 crore in T&D for supply and construction of a transmission line

As per a release, KEC International has secured a new order worth Rs. 582 crore from Abu Dhabi Transmission and Dispatch Company. It involves construction of 400 KV transmission line in Abu Dhabi from Barakah Switchyard to Madinat Zayed Grid Substation.
“I am happy that our railways business has secured a large order which substantiates and reaffirms our belief in the railways growth story. Our transmission and distribution business has strengthened our leadership in the MENA region with the Abu Dhabi order,” added Vimal Kejriwal, MD & CEO, KEC International. Additionally, the company has bagged few other big orders summing up to a total of Rs. 1036 Crore.
The company also has a composite order of Rs. 317 crore for track laying, electrification, signaling, civil works, construction of bridges and road beds. In addition to all this, it has secured the orders of around Rs. 53 crore for supplying telecom cables and power cables (including EHV).
