It has secured the orders in areas like EHV cables, Telecom, transmission & distribution, and railways from India, Bangladesh and Thailand.

A global infrastructure EPC major, KEC International Ltd. has recently won orders worth Rs. 1,224 Cr. Orders secured from India include two orders of Rs. 562 Cr. from Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL). It is for the construction and supply of 400/220 kV GIS & AIS Substation and 400 kV Transmission Line at Jagalur in Karnataka. Also, it includes 400/ 220 kV Substation and 66kV Transmission Line at Gadag in Karnataka.
The international orders comprise of a turnkey order of Rs. 173 Cr. from Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand for construction of 500 kV Transmission Line on Thai- Laos Border. In addition, KEC has secured an order from Power Grid Company of Bangladesh Ltd for construction of 132 kV Transmission Lines worth Rs. 43 Cr. Apart from this, it has received two orders with a combined worth of Rs. 248 Cr. from railway business.
