KEC International Limited has become the first-ever corporate to issue a Performance Surety Bond for a transmission project of the Power Grid Corporation of India (POWERGRID).

The information was shared on a social networking platform by the Mumbai-based company. It said the agreement was signed in the presence of POWERGRID CMD R.K.Tyagi, Director (Projects) Vamsi Rama Mohan Burra, Director (Operations) Naveen Srivastava and KEC MD & CEO Vimal Kejriwal.
