Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited (KPTL), a leading global EPC player in the power and infrastructure contracting sector, has secured new orders notification of award of INR 625 crore. The Company has received orders from Africa in the power transmission business, for railway electrification in India, and new power transmission projects in Europe.
Speaking on the new order developments, Mr. Manish Mohnot, Managing Director & CEO, KPTL said, “we are delighted with the new order wins in our power transmission and railways business. The new orders in the T&D business provides us with a strategic entry in a new country in the African market, demonstrating sheer focus on strengthening our presence in key markets.”
At present, the company is executing a number of contracts in India, Africa, Middle East, CIS, SAARC, and the Far East.
He further added, “our order wins for 2020-21 has reached around Rs. 8,500 crore at standalone level and has exceeded Rs. 16,000 crore at consolidated level. Our diversified order book, robust execution capabilities and strong balance sheet position gives us confidence of growth from a long-term perspective.”
