Works on Hyderabad’s first cable-stayed bridge at Durgam Cheruvu are in the last lap and it would be thrown open on July 30 for the public. 96% Civil works pertaining to the structure were completed and 5% works on side railing and 20% of architectural lighting works unfinished would be completed by the targeted deadline.

There is not much work left to do but around two to three percent of side railing works and installing modern crash barriers on structures are under process. Cable bridge railing and painting works are also pressed into fast track mode. Though Cable bridge construction works were finished long back, the major bridge is getting ready to wish Hyderabad with vibrant colors, around two to five percent works of the bridge leftover except lighting works will be completed by the deadline of July 30.
