Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited (HFCL) has become the first company to sign an agreement with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) as the Project Implementation Agency (PIA) under the BharatNet Phase-III Programme to execute an Advance Work Order (AWO) it received from BSNL for INR 2,501 crore on January 16, 2025.
