HELUKABEL will build a new site in Haan, which will house the group’s Rhine-Ruhr branch, EKD Systems subsidiary, producer of cable drag chains, and Robotec-Systems subsidiary, producer of hose and media packages for robotics. The site is expected to become operational in 2025.

HELUKABEL is building a new site in Haan, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The site will get ready by 2025 and will house HELUKABEL’s Rhine-Ruhr branch, which shall shift from Duisburg, and EKD Systems and Robotec-Systems, the group’s subsidiary units. EKD Systems GmbH, acquired in 2022, specializes in the development and production of cable drag chains made of steel, stainless steel, and plastic, while Robotec-Systems GmbH, acquired in 2012, builds hose and media packages for robotics.
Mr. Andreas Hoppe, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at HELUKABEL, shared the group’s vision behind integrating the capabilities of subsidiaries was to offer customers ready-to-use and customized complete solutions in electrical connection technology and expand the current employee capacity of 70 to 150 by 2030.

The location has been chosen after considering various aspects, including synergizing the functions of subsidiaries with the Rhine-Ruhr branch, strong infrastructure, economically strong region, proximity to previous locations, and presence of existing customers.
