Type SMH | Cantilever Spool Mounting
A cantilever spooler is only possible when the bore of the reels is big enough for them to be mounted on a stable spindle. This means that coil bore and weight must be in an appropriate relation to one another.

Type SMH-Pi | 2-sided Spool Fixation
The machines of the SMH-Pi type are characterized by the take-up of reels from both sides. The machines are equipped with a counter sleeve for this purpose.
Double-sided reel take-up is always necessary when the bore of the coil is so small that a (cantilever) spindle supported on one side only would be too weak to carry the reel.

The machine types described above feature a modular design and can therefore be supplied in many variations. They are used with reels made of steel, plastic, or wood, but can also be equipped with expanding mandrels for the production of coreless coils when strips are processed. All models are available with and without oscillation.
