CTC Global has signed an agreement with Ducab Metals Business (DMB), a subsidiary of Ducab Group, to manufacture CTC Global’s high-capacity, energy-efficient ACCC® conductors in the UAE. DMB will import composite cores from the US to manufacture ACCC® conductors which help in increasing the capacity of transmission lines, and reduction of transmission losses and associated CO2 emissions. DMB will contribute to the expansion of the UAE’s national power grid by using the conductors to accelerate the integration of renewable energy, resulting in enhanced efficiency, capacity, reliability, and conservation of water consumed at thermal power plants.
