Bajel Projects Limited, a company specializing in the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) business, primarily focused on power transmission and distribution infrastructure, has bagged an EPC contract by Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) for the construction of a 400 kV double-circuit transmission line.

The 217-km-long project, which will connect Raipur in Chhattisgarh to Tiroda in Maharashtra using Quad ACSR Moose conductors, is slated for completion within 18 months from the issuance of the letter of award.
Bajel Projects said the contract, which included supply of goods and services, did not qualify as a related-party transaction. None of the promoters or group entities of Bajel Projects Limited held any vested interest in AESL, it added.
