Asso.subsea has announced the signing of a significant contract with Hellenic Cables for offshore cable installation activities related to Lot 1 of the 50Hertz OST-6-1 project.
This major initiative involves connecting an offshore wind farm with a capacity of approximately 900 MW located in the O-6 area of the German Baltic Sea, utilizing advanced 220 kV AC technology.

Asso.subsea will be responsible for installing two submarine export cables running from the Western Offshore Substation (OSS) to the onshore joint bay, with the cable route of approximately 40 km offshore. The cable laying vessel Atalanti will be the main asset deployed on this project.
