Apar Industries, global manufacturer of aluminium and alloy conductor, catering to various sectors, including conductors, cables, telecom solutions, speciality oils, polymers and lubricants, is expanding its cable and conductor manufacturing capacity by adding a new production line at its existing plant.

In a stock exchange filing dated February 1, 2025, the company said it would set up an additional line for the processing of aluminum rod worth INR 37.57 crore, which would be used for the production of conductors and cables.
Currently, the annual production capacity of Apar Industries for aluminum rods stands at 1,87,000 MTPA. After the commissioning of the new line, expected by Q4 of FY25, the aluminum rod manufacturing capacity of the company would increase by 42,000 MTPA.

Apar Industries, while concealing the location for this development, said that it was adding the new aluminum rod line in response to increasing market demand. The company would fund the expansion through internal accruals, it added.
