The fiber backbone will be deployed in Ghana initially

Tejas Networks will be building pan-Africa fiber backbone for Internet Solutions and deliver next generation communication services. Initially, the fiber backbone will be deployed in Ghana and is expected to be a multi-million dollar deal. The fiber will be later rolled out in Kenya, Uganda, Mauritius, Tanzania, Nigeria, Angola and Mozambique.
The first phase would cover Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, Cape Coast and a number of other commercial hubs in Ghana and would enable Internet Solutions to meet the growing demand for data and offer additional services for its enterprises and government clients.
Tejas Networks’ PTN solution is based upon the TJ1600 and TJ1400 products which provide world-class packet transport solutions for mobile, broadband, cloud and enterprise services. Internet Solutions is a pan-Africa operator and provides connectivity services across Africa.
