The low-loss transmission of optical power is necessary in many applications, for example in medical technology, material processing, laser marking & in pump fibers for lasers.
LASER COMPONENTS now offers high-power cables with connectors and copper ferrules. The use of copper as a ferrule material guarantees optimal heat removal. In addition to standard SMA connectors, the new D-80 connector is also available. This connector is fully compatible with the Mitsubishi LD-80.
To further optimize coupling conditions, the ends of the fiber connectors can optionally be equipped with an AR coating. This AR coating is offered by LASER COMPONENTS with a reflection value of 0.1-0.3% at wavelengths of 400-1200 nm. These coatings are available as single AR, dual AR, or broadband AR coatings.
