KEC International Ltd. (KEC), a global infrastructure EPC major, an RPG Group company has secured new orders of Rs. 1200 crore in its Transmission, Power Systems, Railways and Cables businesses. Details are as follows:
Transmission and Power System Business
In this business, the Company has secured orders in Afghanistan, Americas, India and Abu Dhabi amounting to Rs. 886 crore.
• Afghanistan: Secured two orders from the client Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat.
– Order for 220 kV transmission line between Arghandi and Ghazni on turnkey basis. The order value is Rs. 309 crore.
– Order for 220 kV substations between Sayadabad and Ghazni on turnkey basis. The order value is Rs. 281 crore.
• Americas: SAE Towers, the wholly owned subsidiary of the Company has secured orders for the supply of lattice towers, monopoles and hardware from the United States, Brazil, Canada and Mexico. The total value of orders is Rs. 73 crore.
• India: Secured an order for 400 kV transmission line in West Bengal. The order is associated with the Eastern Region Strengthening Scheme–V. The order is secured from the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) and the order value is Rs. 207 crore.
• Abu Dhabi: Secured an order for 220 kV transmission line modification work at Shamkha. The order is secured from the Abu Dhabi Transmission & Dispatch Company (TRANSCO) and the order value is Rs. 16 crore.
Cables Business
In this business, the Company has secured orders for the supply of Power and Telecom Cables. The total value of these orders is Rs. 86 crore.
