This was revealed by Mr. Jonas Alfson, Director of Special Projects at NKT, who is overseeing the ambitious project being built by Walsin Energy Cable System Company Limited (WECSCL), a joint venture between Taiwan’s Walsin Lihwa Corporation and Denmark’s NKT.

As per Mr. Alfson, “Significant progress is being made in the construction, with expert personnel from NKT providing technical support in close collaboration with the WECS team to get the factory up and running efficiently. The factory is being built with the extensive knowledge and experience from our two factories in Karlskrona and Cologne in mind. All essential equipment is either in manufacturing, transit, or already in Taiwan for assembly and installation.”
