Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) has acquired Kudankulam ISTS Transmission, a wholly owned subsidiary of PFC Consulting Limited (PFCCL).
This development marks a significant step in facilitating the evacuation of power from Kudankulam Units 3 and 4, each with a capacity of 1000 MW, totalling 2000 MW, under the inter-state transmission system (ISTS).

Kudankulam ISTS Transmission is a special purpose vehicle (SPV) project that develops the necessary infrastructure for the evacuation of electricity generated by the Kudankulam nuclear power units.
