The Aditya Birla Group has announced an investment of INR 50,000 crore in Rajasthan across various sectors, including an INR 6,000 crore investment in renewable energy within the next two years.

According to Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla, Chairman of the Group, the company was committed to scale up investments in various sectors, such as cement, renewable energy, telecom and retail.
The group’s telecom arm serves approximately eight million subscribers in the state, supported by 11,000 telecom sites and 10,500 km of optic fibre cable.

Speaking at the Rising Rajasthan Global Summit 2024, Mr. Birla while recalling his Rajasthani roots, stated, “From our roots in Pilani, we have grown into a 65-billion-dollar global conglomerate with a presence in 41 countries across 6 continents. It is humbling to realise that this journey started here — just 200 km away.
