With this new order, Rungta Mines will have Danieli technology in six long-product rolling mills, two of which are under operation and two more in the execution phase.
Danieli Bar Quenching system (QTB) will apply in-line heat treatment to the bars, reducing the addition of microalloys during the melting process, for lower overall transformation costs. Bar counters will increase mill flexibility towards market demand, by selecting the desired number of bars for each bundle. Danieli-patented oil-film bearing laying heads will grant high-speed rolling with low vibration, ensuring process stability. Sund Birsta coil finishing facilities will ensure perfect coil-shape formation, easing downstream unwinding operation.
