Joint Efforts Achieve New Success: Wire & Tube China 2012

Wire and Tube China 2012 was held at Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC), Shanghai, P.R.China from 25-28 September, 2012. The show covered seven and a half exhibition halls, boasting a record high exhibition area of 86,500 sqm, up by 16.1% from last edition. Among them, wire China 2012 covers 4 and a half halls of 52,000 sqm and Tube China 2012 took up 3 halls of 34,500 sqm. The 4-day event attracted a total of 1,396 exhibitors from the globe. In total there were 33,469 visitors at the show, of which 3,903 were from overseas. Some 20 visitor delegations from India, Nepal, South Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, Tunisia, Thailand, Taiwan Region, the Philippines and etc. The main product groups of Wire China 2012 included wire manufacturing & finishing machinery, measuring & control technology, process technology tools, auxiliary process technology materials, materials, special wires & cables, test engineering, and specialist areas.

Well-planned Hall Plan To Enables an Effective Tour for Visitors

The organizers made a coherent arrangement of exhibitors in the halls, all divided according to themes making it easier for visitors to find what interests them and allowing them a highly effective use of their time. International wire exhibitors were presented in Hall W1 while domestic industry players were located from Hall W2 to W5. Hall E1 was reserved for international tube exhibitors and Halls E1 (part), E2 and E3 was for domestic companies.

High-end Industry Forums to Share Expertise Insights

Wire and Tube China was not just an exhibition. It also served as an important meeting place for industry players. There were forums and seminars to answer questions of the industry concern for the future. This year, 2012 China Wire and Cable Industry Annual Conference was staged again. The renowned conference is the ideal platform for industry players to share the latest insight, innovation and best practices. Government officials of relevant departments, experts from policy research institutions were invited to report on topics such as macroeconomic trends, policy direction, national plan on energy and future investment trends; pundit analysts from world-leading market research companies also came to make a deep analysis on global industrial development. Besides the industry forum, lot of technical seminars on the latest products and technologies were organized during the exhibition.

There are over 60 exhibitors in Germany Pavilion at wire China 2012. Despite the gloomy global economy, they will continue to participate in wire and Tube China 2014.

Wire China 2012 has been greatly improved comparing the 2010 show. Lots of our exhibitors bring their machinery to the show and demonstrate on site. The future of China market is expanding.

I met not only Chinese exhibitors here, but also the countries nearby China, such as South Korea, Turkey, Thailand and etc. The show is very interesting. We’ve also brought some new comer into this show, some of who has started to co-operated with Chinese companies and bring their new products on the show and look for local agents.

Thirty members of WCISA participated in this show. We found there are more visitors this year. The highlight of this year is there are more international customers, especially the visitors from India, Thailand and other Asian countries.

The next show will be held during 24-27 September, 2014 in Shanghai China.
