Indian Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Mr. Nitin Gadkari recently shared the Indian Government’s plans to develop more than 250 projects under the “Parvatmala Pariyojana”, with a ropeway length of more than 1,200 km over a period of 5 years. India is promoting the manufacturing of ropeway components under the country’s “Make in India” initiative.

Mr. Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways recently shared that the Government of India plans to develop more than 250 projects under the “Parvatmala Pariyojana”, with a ropeway length of more than 1,200 km over a period of 5 years. The minister shared that India’s focus is on Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) under Hybrid Annuity Model, with 60 percent contribution support provided by the Government of India. The minister also shared in an official quote that India is promoting the manufacturing of ropeway components under the country’s “Make in India” initiative.
