Leading global technology company, HFCL has bagged an order of INR 283 crore from the Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation for the Surat Metro Rail Project. The company is tasked with the construction of telecommunication systems for the Surat Metro Rail Project phase-I of GMRC, which includes designing, manufacturing, supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of telecommunication systems. The project is expected to be completed ninety weeks from the date of the contract.

Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited (HFCL) has recently secured an order worth INR 283 crore for the Surat Metro Rail Project from Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation. The order entails the construction of telecommunication systems for phase-I of the Surat Metro Rail Project of GMRC. The company is tasked with the designing, manufacturing, supplying, installation, testing and commissioning of telecommunication systems.

The estimated duration of the project is ninety weeks from the date of the contract. Under the contract, HFCL has to provide warranty support for 110 weeks for the system that it will deploy. HFCL is also integrating communication networks for metros and mainline railways and implementing video management systems at around 600 railway stations.
