Various provisions as laid down will facilitate overcoming universal challenges posed by rapid technological change and transformation to a digital economy.
Government interest in infrastructure in all sectors and various incentive schemes like PLI, Digital transformation will attract investments as well as FDI that we have witnessed in 2021. Inflation led by logistics needs to be taken care of adequately to free flow the tailwind in the economy.
PM Gati Shakti as provisioned is likely to contribute significantly to augmenting the infrastructure. Primarily seven engines namely roads, railways, airports, ports, mass transport, waterways, and logistics will transform infrastructure development for the better and hence facilitate manufacturing spread throughout the country. Needless to mention that real manufacturing base needs to be created and supported to generate wealth throughout the country as indicated by the World Bank Group Report and this has been reflected in the Budget. Countrywide spreading of the economy will distribute population uniformly throughout the country which can enable lesser movement as well as lesser infection as a lesson learned from COVID-19.
