LAPP India has partnered with CAHORS, a French multinational company specialised in energy distribution to offer a comprehensive range of photovoltaic solutions in India. With this strategic alliance, LAPP India will complement their world-class ÖLFLEX® SOLAR range of cables, with an exhaustive product range from CAHORS that includes plug-in connectors, branch connectors, panel connectors, module junction boxes, enclosures, combiner boxes, and crimping/cutting tools.
The country is witnessing an ever-increasing thrust on the adoption and propagation of renewable energy with 450 GW being targeted by 2030. With over 60 percent of this coming from solar PV and aided by the numerous PLI schemes being announced by the government, India will witness steady demand for PV solutions. In a market that is highly fragmented, this partnership aims to provide PV components and customised solutions of the highest quality from one source to customers, while bringing together LAPP’s innovative technical expertise with CAHORS’ world-class indigenous manufacturing capabilities and cutting-edge European quality standards.
