Ajex & Turner — a technology-driven unit, has developed an in-house vertical tungsten carbide die polishing and re-grinding machine model TCD-11 air-cooled upgraded model with a working range of 0.600 mm to 50.00 mm.
Ajex & Turner states that dies are not one-time use; and can be used year by year by re-polishing and re-sizing. The machine is very useful for welding wire, low carbon & high carbon wire drawing units to save time and regular use of old dies. The estimated time taken for polishing and re-sizing is as under:

The machine runs on electrical spindle speed of 24000 RPM with stroke length for wire dies 0 to 30 mm. It works on special principal where in both the reduction and bearing zones of the die can be worked in one setting thereby producing the concentric dies. Users can get accurate and precise CNC marking are provided to get perfect angles.
