The Karnataka-based wire drawing dies manufacturer — Mikrotek has collaborated with Conoptica AS to market and distribute the latter’s instruments in India and adjoining countries.

Mr. B. Kamal Babu, Managing Director, Mikrotek Machines Limited, and Mr. Kjell E. Johnsen, Sales & Marketing Manager, Conoptica AS, have agreed to form strategic cooperation. Mikrotek will do marketing and sales of Conoptica instruments in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. It will also take care of basic maintenance and servicing of Conoptica equipment.
After working together in an informal manner for several years, the Bengaluru-based and one of the leading Indian manufacturers of drawing dies and die production equipment, Mikrotek is entering into a formal distributor agreement with Norwegian manufacturer of drawing die measurement systems Conoptica AS.
With the new partnership, Conoptica seeks to increase its presence and market-share in the region. Through this new agreement, Mikrotek will be responsible for marketing and sales activities. It will also provide first-line support and some service and maintenance activities for new and existing companies. An important part of the customer experience for Conoptica is the service and support they provide. Joining forces with Mikrotek for service and maintenance will also ensure faster response and easier access for customers in the covered territories.
