DCM continues its leadership in cable testing solutions by introducing the Model 3S-PCX Cable Measuring System designed for testing broadband telecommunication cables up to 100 MHz. Utilizing the DCM 3S Solid-State-Switching technology, the 3S-PCX offers the highest performance telecom cable testing system available.

The Model 3S-PCX quickly tests the transmission quality of traditional and broadband telecom cables. Test parameters include the Capacitance, Capacitance Unbalance, Resistance and Resistance Unbalance parameters, as well as the high frequency Crosstalk, Attenuation, Return Loss, SRL, and Impedance parameters up to 100 MHz. The system is available with test fixtures in 28-pair, 52-pair or 104-pair configurations.

The 3S-PCX is available in dual impedance configurations enabling cable producers to test 100 ohm and other impedance cables, such as 120 ohm, 135 ohm or 150 ohm type cables. Testing is fast, easy and automatic with individual frequency and swept frequency test reporting.
