Tejas Networks has announced new orders worth INR 7,492 crore to provide RAN equipment for the 4G and 5G networks of BSNL across India. The new order is following the successful trial run of equipment provided at 1,00,000 sites. TCS is supporting the project execution.

Tejas Networks, part of Tata Group, has bagged new orders worth INR 7,492 crore for the 4G and 5G networks of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). The company announced the successful execution of a master construct for the supply, support, and annual maintenance of services of its Radio Access Network(RAN) equipment for BSNL’s pan-India 4G-5G networks, spanning almost 1,00,000 sites, with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Limited.

The new orders are expected to be completed during the calendar years of 2023 and 2024 and include support and maintenance services for the subsequent 9 years post the warranty period. The company received the order after the successful completion of trials.
