Bekaert has recently laid the foundation for expansion of their Ranjangaon, Pune plant. The company is planning to invest INR 500 crore to expand their plant capacity by 50 percent, and will also be making an investment to procure cutting edge machinery.

Bekaert laid the foundation for expanding their Ranjangaon, Pune plant under the guidance of Mr. Barry Snyder, COO, Bekaert and Mr. Srikanth Chakravarty, VP- RR South Asia and Managing Director, Bekaert India on August 3, 2023. The plant will be expanded by an additional 50 percent over their existing capacity with an investment of INR 500 crore, enhancing their ability to cater to the needs of local clientele.

To enable their customers to achieve better material efficiency and to reduce weight, they are investing in 3rd ISC line and will get new state of the art machines to support their cord innovation for the Indian tyre industry.
