As the first metro project in Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Metro will now be a key component of Ducab’s global expansion strategy, especially in the transport sector in the Asian market.

Ducab Group has added yet another feather in its cap in terms of its international operations, precisely, in the Indian market. The cable company supplied 140 km of Medium Voltage (MV) cables for the Lucknow Metro project in Uttar Pradesh. A project of Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (UPMRCL), Lucknow was the first metro project in the northern Indian state.

The Lucknow project is the focal point of the company’s global expansion strategy, particularly in the Asian transport sector. Previously, the cable company has already supplied to flagship projects such as Indira Gandhi International Airport (Delhi), (2020 and 2021 through Johnson Controls), Delhi Metro, Kanpur Metro, and the Bandaranaike International Airport expansion project in Sri Lanka, among others, in India.

Additionally, Ducab has also supplied low voltage (LV), MV, and FlamBICC range of cables to all the airports in the UAE and others in the GCC, including Doha International Airport (Qatar), Muscat International Airport (Oman), and the King Abdul Aziz Airport (Jeddah).
